Melanie has experience in all aspects of end-of-life planning; from documentation completion to vigilling; from bucket-list creation to accompanying someone in their last days; from facilitating challenging conversations to educating families to look after their loved one's body at home, after death. Melanie seeks to increase death literacy and the level of "death comfort" in the community and works extensively in community education on the power of end-of-life planning — clarity and comfort for the client and reduction of overwhelm for those surrounding them. Melanie also seeks to inform and increase awareness of the support an end-of-life doula can provide.
