Creating your family-friendly return to work plan
THE PROCESS
Your very first step back into the workforce is a meeting with your ParentsNext consultant. They’ll spend some time getting to know about you and your goals for your family, study and work. Together you’ll develop a return to work plan that helps you achieve these goals and create gr8tness for many years to come! This might include:
- Engaging in a work-experience program
- Enrolling in a qualification or course, including support to complete year 12
- Referrals for medical support to address any health issues you may be experiencing
- Finding suitable part-time work
These activities will be set together with your personal consultant to work in with your personal needs and the needs of your family.
You’ll have access to the Participation Fund, which can help cover the cost of education, training and employment-related costs (such as licences, equipment or clothing). You may also be eligible for relocation assistance and employer wage subsidies, to give you the edge in your job applications.
Our goal is to work together with you to achieve your goals. We’re excited to help you reach them!
