On International Women’s Day, we congratulate our Founder and Managing Director, Sarina Russo AM, who has once again been named in the Australian Financial Review’s Top 75 Rich Women List. Sarina’s relentless drive, entrepreneurial spirit, and commitment to empowering people through education, employment, training and business have made a lasting impact.

Starting in 1979 with a small typing school and only $2,600, Sarina turned her vision into a global enterprise, supporting hundreds of thousands job seekers, students and aspiring entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams.

The Sarina Russo Group, under Sarina’s leadership for 45 years has become a global leader in education, employment, and training, helping thousands build successful careers and businesses. Sarina’s partnership with James Cook University in Brisbane has provided students from more than 88 countries the opportunity to study Degree and Masters qualifications as a vehicle to build their successful  careers and contribute to the advancement of their families and communities. Her dedication to entrepreneurship helps launch more than 1,000 startups each year.

Synonymous with the phrases ‘How to Get That Job’ and ‘See You at the Top,’ Sarina challenges the status quo, exceeds expectations, and delivers results. In 2023, Sarina was recognised for her contribution to the business community with an Honorary Doctorate of Commerce from James Cook University and in 2024 received the award of Member of the Order of Australia in the King’s Birthday Honours list for her sustained contribution to the community through her work in Education and Training.

Being named once more in the AFR’s Top Women Rich List is further testament to her impact.

Today, we celebrate Sarina Russo as an inspiring leader who continues to uplift individuals and create opportunities for her businesses to make a positive impact on the lives of many globally.
