“Hi, my name is Emily and I’ve recently launched my own dietetics and personal training business. Sport and nutrition have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve been an athlete from a young age and I know firsthand how powerful food and movement can be for both physical and mental wellbeing.”
Emily’s journey began with a clear vision: to empower others to feel strong, energised, and confident through food and fitness. While studying dietetics and personal training, she knew she wanted to create something of her own—something that would allow her to support others while also building a flexible lifestyle.
When Emily discovered the Self-Employment Assistance program through Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs, she was ready to take the leap but unsure where to begin. That’s where our dedicated business coach, Marileba Bortone, stepped in.

Sarina Russo offers accredited small business training that can help turn your business idea into reality. In conjunction with the Self-Employment Assistance program, Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs enables Australians to set up and run their own small business. The Self-Employment Assistance is 100% Australian Government funded.
Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs supports candidates as they complete Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business. During this, candidates create a comprehensive business plan and a two-year financial cash forecast. SRE Trainers provide meaningful mentoring for the first twelve months.
Eligible candidates receive the training and support to create a viable business plan, in addition to obtaining a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
