Inclusive Employment Australia will begin soon – what it means for you

The Australian Government is introducing a new employment support program called Inclusive Employment Australia, which will replace the current Disability Employment Services (DES) program from 1 November 2025.

At Sarina Russo Job Access, we’re here to guide you through this transition and ensure you continue receiving the support you need to find and keep meaningful employment.

Whether you're a current DES participant, a job seeker looking for support, or an employer wanting to build a more inclusive workplace, this change brings new opportunities for tailored, flexible, and long-term assistance.

What’s Changing?

Inclusive Employment Australia will offer:

  • Expanded eligibility for people with disability, injury, or health conditions
  • No time limits on support – stay in the program as long as you need
  • More personalised services based on your employment journey
  • Continued access to job preparation, employer connections, and post-placement support

What Do You Need to Do?

If you're currently receiving support through DES, you don’t need to do anything right now. Keep working with your Sarina Russo Job Access consultant as usual. We’ll keep you informed and help you prepare for the transition.

If you're not yet registered, you can still apply for DES before the new program begins. Our team is ready to help you get started.
