International Women’s Day 2026 reminds us that generosity creates progress. This year’s theme, Give To Gain, recognises the power of giving through time, knowledge, opportunity, resources or advocacy, and, the positive impact it has on women and communities.
This message was reflected at the recent launch of Shake Up by Candice Harvey at the Australian Inspirational Centre at JCU Brisbane, where Dr Sarina Russo AM spoke about the importance of taking responsibility for our own growth. She shared the belief that change starts with us, if we do not challenge ourselves, someone else will. Sarina also acknowledged the long‑standing connection between Candice’s family and the Sarina Russo Group, highlighting how opportunity can shape lives across generations.
Her message strongly aligned with the spirit of International Women’s Day, reinforcing that empowering women and girls is a shared responsibility. She continues to encourage individuals to own their journey and consider what they are willing to change to grow and lead.
