National Panel of Assessors

National Panel of Assessors

VOICE Psychologists & Allied Professionals have been an appointed member of the Australian Government’s (Department of Social Services) National Panel of Assessors (NPA) since 2009.

As an NPA member, VOICE Psychologists & Allied Professionals provides a range of Assessment Services to assist with the needs of people with disability in the workplace and have consistently met the Australia Governments Key Performance Indicators in terms of quality delivery.

Our team of qualified Allied Health Professionals conduct assessment services across the States of New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland.

Ongoing Support Assessments (OSA)

Ongoing Support assistance is available to Disability Employment Services (DES) Participants who are currently employed and require the ongoing services of a DES provider to retain and/or maintain their employment.

Our experienced OSA assessors independently assess the Ongoing Support needs of an employee in employment and will determine the level of support appropriate for a Participant.

Support Wage Subsidy Assessments (SWS)

If a person with disability is not able to work at the same productivity levels as their co-workers because of their disability, that person may be eligible to participate in the SWS to determine an agreed upon pay rate based on the percentage of productivity of the normal rate.

Our qualified SWS assessors will conduct an initial productivity assessment after a Participant has applied for SWS. Our SWS assessor will work within the Federal and State industrial relations systems to facilitate an SWS wage assessment agreement between the employer and employee, and submission of the agreement to the relevant industrial relations authority.

Workplace Modifications Scheme (WMS) Assessments

The Department of Social Services will appoint qualified Workplace Modification Assessor (WMA) who will be required to conduct assessments for people with disability to identify barriers to accessing or performing their work. Our qualified and experienced WMA will recommend equipment, modifications and other support, funded through the Employment Assistance Fund (EAF), to remove the identified barriers.

If you require support through EAF applications for assistance can be submitted to the JobAccess service. Some applications may require a Workplace Modification Assessment to determine the right modifications or adjustments required for the employee or job seeker. In these instances, the JobAccess Provider will allocate a WMA NPA Provider to conduct the assessment.
