Parent Pathways What's Next?

Let us help support you on your journey towards personal growth and carer development,  while your kids are getting ready to start school. We’ll work together to create a goal plan to support you balance family life while advancing your personal development and goals.

Who is eligible for Parent Pathways?

ELIGIBILITY AT A GLANCE

Parent Pathways is for parents and carers who:

  • have a child aged under 6
  • are not in paid employment
  • live in an area where there is a Parent Pathways provider.

 In addition, are either:

Receiving income support payments Not receiving income support and are 
  • Parenting Payment Single or Partnered
  • under 22 years old
  • Carer Payment
  • an early school leaver (parents who don't have a year 12 qualification)
  • Special Benefit
  • a First Nations parent or carer.

If you are in receipt of one of these income support payments and are eligible for the Parent Pathways program, Services Australia (Centrelink) will be in touch and refer you to a Parent Pathways provider. If you are in Victoria, New South Wales, or Queensland, you can ask to be referred to Sarina Russo Job Access.
