The 2024 National Self-Employment Association (NSEA) Conference was a great success, providing an opportunity for providers to reconnect and share insights. Held at the Stamford Grand Hotel in Glenelg, the beachfront venue added to the event's appeal.

The Sarina Russo Group (SRG) had an active presence, with staff contributing to important discussions. A special mention goes to Claudia Chavez from SRG, who presented 'From Inspiration to Action.' Claudia discussed the journey from initial inspiration to actionable steps in self-growth, offering practical strategies to motivate and guide clients effectively.

India Shortlisted for Business Champion Award

India Christensen, an outstanding member of Sarina Russo Group’s Self-Employment Assistance (S-EA) team, is shortlisted for the Business Champion Award. With 15 years of expertise, India brings passion and enthusiasm to business training, inspiring and supporting over 7,000 clients. She excels in delivering both face-to-face and online training, managing Masterclasses, and adapting to online platforms during the COVID-19 transition. Her calm professionalism and significant contributions to Small Business Training have solidified her reputation, making her a deserving candidate for this prestigious award.

Karmel Shortlisted for Unsung Hero Award
Karmel Surban’s role in the Sarina Russo Group’s Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) program has been essential. Her expertise in marketing has driven successful campaigns and boosted client referrals. Karmel maintains high office standards and delivers dynamic social media campaigns, providing valuable support to clients and colleagues, making her a standout candidate for the Unsung Hero Award.

We are also proud to announce that Paulette Smith was a finalist for Best New Business for her innovative contributions to the dental industry. Paulette is Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs Best New Business finalist.

Paulette Smith, a dedicated dental hygienist, is recognized for her contributions to the dental industry, including advocating for independent practice rights for hygienists and creating Tri-Dente, a business offering premium dental products and training. Her efforts, supported by Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs, have empowered dental professionals and achieved significant business growth.

The Self-Employment Assistance is 100% Australian Government funded.

Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs supports candidates as they complete Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business. During this, candidates create a comprehensive business plan and a two-year financial cash forecast. SRE Trainers provide meaningful mentoring for the first twelve months.

Eligible candidates receive the training and support to create a viable business plan, in addition to obtaining a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
