After moving from hairdressing to hospitality, Shannon realised her dream was to provide nutritious plant-based meals to the people of the Sunshine Coast. Shannon had been on her own health journey after significant digestive challenges and wanted to find the best way to educate others that Mother Nature can provide everything required to lead a healthy, happy life.
She asked around for her friends’ experiences with the Self-Employment Assistance program (previously New Business Assistance with NEIS)program and after hearing the overwhelming positive feedback from those that completed the program with Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs (SRE), Shannon decided to finally go for it and signed up with SRE.
From the moment she started working on her business plan with her Business Coach Erwin; she appreciated his positive influence, attention to detail and ability to break down larger activities into bite sized tasks. After three weeks working on her plan, Shannon’s vision for her business was clear and she started making moves to bring Little Green Heart into reality.
