Sarina Russo Apprenticeships hosted an International Women’s Day event across four states uniting attendees from Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales and Queensland.
The event, held on 8 March was certainly a resounding success. Attendees from various locations, whether participating face-to-face or virtually, joined hands to honour the spirit of International Women’s Day to inspire and champion inclusion.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the inspiring guest speakers who have graced the occasion. From industry experts to seasoned professionals, each speaker shared lessons, challenges they face, and invaluable insights gained throughout their careers in trade. Their stories serve as an inspiration for women everywhere, especially for women in male dominated industries.
During the event, participants were encouraged to engage in meaningful conversations and discussions, share their own experiences and network with like-minded individuals who are committed to making a difference in male dominated industries. The event served as a platform to elevate and support each other as each pursue their individual paths in trades.
Sarina Russo Apprenticeships would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who attended, both in person and virtually. Your presence and participation contributed to the success of the SRA International Women’s Day event, making it truly memorable and a very impactful experience for all involved.
As we return to our individual journeys, let us continue to #InspireInclusion, champion diversity and empower women to continue to break barriers in male dominated trades and industries.
Happy International Women’s Day!
