National Reconciliation Week (NRW) is a significant event in Australia, held annually from 27 May to 3 June. NRW encourages all Australians to explore how we can each contribute to advancing reconciliation in our country. This week is a time for everyone to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements. This year’s theme, Now More Than Ever, emphasises the ongoing need for justice and rights for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Now more than ever, the work continues: in treaty making, in truth-telling, in understanding our history, in education, and in tackling racism. We need connection. We need respect. We need action. And we need change. Now more than ever, we need reconciliation.
