Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs Celebrates Indigenous Business Month at Christies Beach

On Wednesday 9 October 2024, Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs successfully hosted the Celebrating Indigenous Business Month – Making Our Marks event at Christies Beach Hotel, South Australia. The event highlighted the talent, innovation, and resilience of First Nations businesses and provided an opportunity for learning, networking, and growth.

The day was filled with inspiring moments, including a panel discussion with successful Indigenous business owners who shared their journeys and insights. Attendees explored a vibrant marketplace showcasing Indigenous businesses and accessed valuable information on educational programs, free training courses, and placement opportunities.

Key highlights included a presentation by BoomerLearn and exclusive tourism packages for attendees. Information on the Self-Employment Assistance Program was also provided, offering support for budding entrepreneurs.

The Self-Employment Assistance is 100% Australian Government funded.

Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs supports candidates as they complete Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business. During this, candidates create a comprehensive business plan and a two-year financial cash forecast. SRE Trainers provide meaningful mentoring for the first twelve months.

Eligible candidates receive the training and support to create a viable business plan, in addition to obtaining a Certificate IV in Entrepreneurship and New Business.
