This course is aimed at students who wish to develop their core English skills across:

  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Speaking
  • Listening
  • Grammar

You’ll gain the skills to become more confident using English in everyday settings and provide a path to university entry. The course requires 25 hours learning p/week across:

  • 10 weeks intermediate English
  • 10 weeks upper intermediate English

On completion of this program, you’ll be ready to go directly to a Diploma program or continue to the next academic English course: Unipath English 2.

Prepare yourself with the English skills required to complete a Master’s Degree at James Cook University, Brisbane. In this 10 week course, requiring 25 hours of learning a week, you will develop the necessary English skills for:

  • Essay, data reporting, summary, reflection and business letter writing

  • Ability to comprehend complex academic reading texts such as business case studies
